Volvo 242 umiliating a C7 Corvette in a drag race!!

In this video you can see probably the most epic Volvo 242 you have ever seen. During the "street car takeover" in Denver, Colorado, the swedish car built in the Seventies beat a new Chevrolet Corvette C7 with 900 hp.

An impossible challenge that the Volvo incredibly won dominating the race from the first meters until the end, winning by nearly a second. The time on the mile quarter is also amazing, a 10.64 with a speed of 134.23 mph (216 km/h). We must say that the Volvo 242 is not in the same condition it left the factory but his owner made a very important tuning work. One of the most important feature he assembled was a LSX Turbo that improved the maximum power to 600 hp (instead of the original 155 horse power), lowered suspensions, bigger tyres and wheels, new exhaust and, last but not least, a V8 engine instead of the 4-lines Volvo equipped the car. A lot of work that gave him (and continues give him..) big satisfactions.
