Tutorial Patchwork - Disappearing half square triangles

This video tutorial you will show a very versatile patchwork job, because with this lock made by means of fabric triangles, you can combine the various pieces to each other and obtain different combinations to create your jobs.

In order to realize this kind of work, you need the following materials:
- a decorated fabric,
- a white colored fabric,
- a ruler,
- a cutter,
- the sewing machine.

As first thing, take two fabrics and cut a square of the size of 23 cm, for each of the two fabrics, and then place them one on the other (right sides) and sewn around about half a centimeter from the edge. At this point, to divide the square into four parts, and then perform two diagonal cuts (starting from one corner to the opposite one to finish), so as to create the triangles.

That done, you got four smaller squares, composed of a white triangle and one in fantasy, place them on the work surface in the same direction and cut each square in half. Go on with the job and reversed the previously cut strips, then sew them together (two and two) thus creating more square with a pattern different from the previous, then played with the placement of pieces to create fantastic works different from each other.
