The 10 Promises to my Dog
This beautiful video is an excerpt from the film "Ten promises to my dog", a feature-length Japanese actually did not have a great success outside the Asian continent.
The film is inspired by the best-selling Hare Kawaguhhi and tells the story of Hakari Saito and his dog ... a magnificent Golden Retriever named Socks; The two main characters grow together and face many stories alongside each other but the events overlap always around the "Ten commandments of dog", a sort of written policy from the point of view of the dog.
The film's protagonist finds himself at the end of the film to read the book of "promises" to the bedside of his dog, now at the end of his life in a very touching moment of the film.
But we have to admit that this film outside of Asia had no record of incomings... even in Europe and America has been removed in advance from movie theaters! In Japan, instead, it ranked at nineteenth place in 2008 ... a real failure!
