The Chalk Paint, produced by the brand Annie Sloan, is nothing more than a simple matte painting which is very opaque but at the same time reduces the blackboard effect. The Chalk Paint has many features that have made it famous in many parts of the world.
This paint is water-based so it is easy to remove from the work tools, adheres to any surface and can be used for both external and internal decoration. Moreover, it can be found on the market in many shades and helping to give a vintage look to your furniture. Compared to other paintings for the Shabby Chic technique, the only step needed after it dries is to pass a layer of wax.
In this video tutorial of YouTuber MrDiyDork, you will see how to create at home this very special painting.
In a four-part plastic container pour of washable wall (painting from washable wall), and a piece of chalk. Then go with a ladle to mix the two components and then with a mini pimer go to "smash it" to remove the various lumps. If you want a stronger Chalk Paint will need to use a piece of chalk, two parts water enamel and finally two parts washable paint or possibly acrylic color.
