The Cavalier King is a breed of small dogs. Is a small spaniel with a silky coat of moderate length, usually slightly bent, and very long ears. The breed was selected in the 20th century, but has much older origins.

This cute four legs normally has a docile and obedient temperament, not at all aggressive. It adapts well to living in an apartment, but it suffers when left alone for many hours because it binds extensively to master. Is very suitable for dog lovers. You really hyperactive doesn't love sit still.

They tend to put on weight if allowed to eat more than you need, but love to run so often are taken out for exercise. Being a small dog is suitable to be with the kids. Generally bark very little.

The Cavalier also can suffer from diseases of sight like cataracts. It is a rather delicate breed of dog, which needs a lot of medical attention and considerable effort on the part of the owner. Ears are delicate. Should be cleaned and checked regularly. This breed may also suffer from heart problems, as several damages borne by the mitral valve.
