Patchwork - Fish Quilt Pattern
This movie performed by the talented "Rose Smith", shows the creation of a beautiful patchwork quilt, with an unusual pattern of a fish-shaped pattern. The body of this simple quilt was made with a series of squares of three different colours, arranged in nine rows of nine, while the tail is formed by other squares that go into creating a single block.
To begin this wonderful work, you will need to have available the materials listed below:
a white fabric, a red fabric, a green fabric, cutting mats, the line for precision cutting, the sewing machine, the wheel to cut the fabrics.
For each of the three fabrics, you'll have to cut a series of squares from 3.5 inches around and set them just like you shows in the tutorial.
In the upper left corner has been placed a square of red, then in the first row alternate various squares, then after that red no white, then green, still a white square, one red, another white, one green, one white and one red to finish yet.
The second line starts with two white squares followed by one green and then everyone else as done before, it continues with the third line that starts with three green squares, and so on up to the end of the row and continue in this way to create a herringbone pattern.
