New World Record: Highest Cliff Jumping 58.8 Meters/200 Feet
Diving from 58.8 meters: this is the measure that allowed Laso Schaller, Extreme diver and expert in canyoning, to obtain a new world record. The enterprise took place in Switzerland, exactly at the waterfall Salto, place that was chosen by the diver extreme Brazilian after numerous inspections to locate the best place to do this crazy enterprise. Some data will be able to make us better understand the extent of this madness sports: the dive takes place from 58.8 meters, slightly less than the Tower of Pisa which measures about 60; the maximum speed reached and touched at the time when there is the contact with the water surface, is approximately 120 km/h; the duration of the dip is about 4 seconds. In practice, like jumping off a building of 19 floors or travel at the speed of a car on the highway. We are confident that this record is not passed, if not by the same Laso Schaller.
