Home Decor & Shabby Chic - Objects for a vintage kitchen

The home decor also called "Shabby Chic", is nothing but a kind of furniture in vogue in recent years, but in fact was born in 1980 and the term was coined by the US magazine "The World of Interiors", to define decor where they are shot some vintage furniture and then decorate them in a modern way.

Shabby chic whose meaning in Italian is "elegant and slovenly", is an interior design style romantic and ethereal, whose purpose is to create a relaxing home environment.

The furniture looking old and faded are revisited and modernized, through the pastel tones more or less clear, but this style can also be applied in diy. The atmosphere is very relaxing, soft colors: white dominates but coexist pastel colors like pink, ivory, purple lavender, beige, light gray.
