F1 - GP Hungary 2015 - Highlights

On Sunday 26th July 2015 in the Hungaroring Circuit of Budapest it was held the XXXI Pirelli Magyar Nagydìj, or, most common, the Hungarian Formula 1 GP. On the starting grid, Lewis Hamilton was in pole position, behind him his team mate in Mercedes Nico Rosberg, Sebastian Vettel in Ferrari was third, then Ricciardo in Redbull and Raikkonen with the second Ferrari. The start of the Ferrari was amazing and after the first corner Vettel led the race and Raikkonen, overtaking three cars in a few meters, was second. At the sixth corner Hamilton, trying to overtake Rosberg, went out of the track, becoming tenth when he returned on the blacktop. The first half of the race went on easily, until the Force India of Nico Hulkenberg broke its front spoiler at the end of the start-finish straight. It was necessary to get out the safety car. After the re-start, the engine of the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen suffered a lost of power and forced the Finnish to retire. Hamilton and Ricciardo crashed and Lewis (which before had came back until the fourth place) had to change his front spoiler and went down again in seventh position. During the last laps Rosberg and Ricciardo reduced the gap with Vettel but, when the Australian tried to overtake the Mercedes' driver, his front spoiler touched the rear tire of the "silver arrow". Rosberg had to cover a lap with the flat tire losing a lot of positions, Ricciardo had to change his spoiler quitting the pit-lane third, behind his team mate Kvjat. At the end of the race Vettel dedicated his win to Jules Bianchi, the French F1 driver recently dead, while Kvjat went for the first time on the podium. Third was Ricciardo, fourth Max Verstappen and in fifth position Fernando Alonso with McLaren Honda got his first points in the championship. The second victory of the season allowed Vettel to reach Ayrton Senna in the third position of the most winning driver in F1 history.
