Ducati 1098 vs BMW S1000RR - Drag Race
Two brands are compared in this video from Youtube Channel "The Bay Area Racing", which often gives us exciting drag race with cars and motorcycles. In this case to do battle are two wonderful specimens on two wheels: Ducati 1098 and a BMW S1000RR.
The Ducati 1098 is produced by the famous Italian brand since 2007, as a replacement for the legendary 999. It has a 4-stroke L-twin engine, capable of delivering 160 horsepower. A special version, the 1098R, is designed for use on the track. In the racing world this bike has achieved several successes in Superbike, where he won two world titles with riders Troy Bayliss (2008) and Carlos Checa (2011).
Germany's BMW S1000RR is produced starting in 2008 and is one of the top models of the motorcycle production company in Munich. This bike is distinguished by a 999 CC 4 cylinder engine, giving a power of 193 horses. This model was used in the World Superbike Championship, but failed to bring home significant successes.
Both bikes are totally black livery in this challenge on the quarter-mile, which will compare the speed of each of them and their respective pilots.
