Drift Race: Alfa Romeo 75 Twin Turbo VS. BMW M3 E46
In 2013 in Greece, on a karting track, was held the "King of Europe", a competition for the best drifter in Europe.
The race recorded in this video sees an Alfa Romeo 75 Twin Turbo 3.0 V6 against a supercharged BMW M3 E46.
In the cockpit of the Alfa there is Margaritis Katsanidis, one of the best drifter in the world, that immediately starts to burn his tyres in amazing power oversteers, heading out the corners in full throttle and creating an incredible fog. In this fog is hard to see the other car, driven by Norbert Kovacik that cannot do nothing to oppose himself against the clear supremacy of his rival.
Some words should be spent about the cars: Alfa Romeo 75 Twin Turbo got a 3 Litres V6 engine with more than 200 hp, an engine that Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear defined as the "Pavarotti of the engines" for his beautiful sound. A sound you can clearly listen pumping up the volume of your speakers.
On the other side a BMW M3 E46 supercharged, with a 3.2 Litres straight six engine and a power bigger than 350 hp that probably the driver could not capitalize on this short and curvy track, with short straights and corners with a small radius of curvature.
