Dalmatian: Really special dog
Interesting and instructive short movie, which made an historical excursus, also listing strengths and weaknesses of that beautiful breed of dog that is the Dalmatian.
The Dalmatian is a Croatian breed of dog, although its real origin is unknown. The Dalmatian dog has become famous thanks to the animated film "101 Dalmatians". It belongs to the family of the hounds and dogs track researchers. It is a dog of medium size, with its typical white coat with black or brown spots small in diameter, smaller on the head and limbs.
One of the major health problems of the Dalmatian is the propensity for congenital deafness, which is often associated with balance problems and seizures. These dogs are also genetically predisposed to formation of kidney stones.
The Dalmatian is extremely loving, quiet and protective. These characteristics make it ideal as a companion dog, also living in the apartment. Its extremely sociable nature also makes it perfect for both live together with children and other animals. However, it is also very possessive and moody, and if left alone can easily get depressed. It's a very active dog, loves long walks and rides on the beach.
Normally this amazing and cute four legs, has a life expectancy of between ten and thirteen years.
