C6 ZR1 vs C7 Z06 | Corvette 1/2 mile Drag Race

From June 30 to July 3, 2017, Battle Creek Speedfest was held, a show totally dedicated to cars and drag races. There have been many challenges in the scene with the best supercars and muscle cars ready to challenge the distance of half a mile. The track on which the races took place is that of "W.K . Kellogg" Airport in Battle Creek, Michigan.

In the video here we can see a challenge between two beautiful Corvette: a C6 ZR1 and a C7 Z06. The challenge is taken from different angles, allowing us to appreciate the sound of these beautiful cars and to realize their power.

The Corvette C6 ZR1 (here in black and white livery) mounts a 6.2-liter V8 engine capable of delivering 638 horsepower and ranges from 0 to 100 kmh in 3.3 seconds. Its rival, the C7 Z06, features a 7.2-liter V8 engine supercharged, capable of giving rear wheels more than 650 horsepower and a torque of about 881 Nm. It reaches 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds and is also available with 8-speed automatic transmission.

Both Corvette in question are two cars capable of great performance and can give a sensational driving experience to the lucky drivers. Only one will come out of this comparison: will be the C6 ZR1 or the C7 Z06?
