BMW E30 drifting on the Highway
If the popular AC/DC song "It's a long way to the top (if you wanna Rock 'n' roll)" starts with "Riding down the Highway" the leitmotif of this video could be adjusted in "Drifting on the Highway" and it would be a great success almost as the song, that should be the perfect soundtrack if the video editor didn't want to make us listen at the burning tires.
On the Highways of an European state, a BMW 318is E30 with a power of 560 hp decided to make sense at a cloudy day, making smoke its rear tires and leaving behind it a series of long black stripes on the blacktop.
With such a large power in a rear-wheel drive car and very hard tyres, it is not so difficult to drift pushing full throttle just after shifting in a lower gear, especially in 2nd or 3rd gear. It's not so easy keep the control of the car heading out, at high speed, the highway junction. The BMW driver makes it seem simple and the only obstacle is the white van he finds in front of him exactly when he is finishing a perfect all-drifting junction.
No matter because the next right-hand corner has a big radius of curvature too and the driver can complete his drift, leaving behind him a big fog and a delicious smell of burning tires.
