BMW E30 1050 HP: fastest BMW of the world!
Usually the BMW E30 has an inline 4-cylinder or an inline 6-cylinder engine, with a volume from 1.6 Litres up to 3.3 Litres and an original power of 101 hp up to 235 hp for the more powerful M3 vehicle.
But the E30 you can see in this video it's everything but standard: first of all, the engine is the BMW S38 3.6 Litres straight-six that originally equipped the BMW E34 M5, contemporary to the E30. This petrol engine got a power of 315 hp and takes only 6 second to reach 60 mph (97 km/h) and the maximum speed (electronic limited) was 155 mph (250 km/h).
But the owner of this E30 didn't limit himself at changing the engine: he also installed a PT8285 turbocharger, he modified the body with special aerodynamics pieces, he lowered the car, installed hard dampenings and really soft tyres specific for drag races. In closing, the tank is full of an high performance gasoline.
He worked a lot on the engine, growing the power to the amazing figure of 1050 hp, so this E30 is a "monster" ready to destroy enemies and blacktop and it is, without a doubt, the fastest BMW in Germany: it took only 9.19 seconds to cover the 1/4 mile and terminated the race at the unbelievable speed of 256 km/h. The initial acceleration is brutal!
