Ayrton Senna vs Alain Prost - Italian Grand Prix 1991
One of the most heated rivalries in the history of Formula 1 is no doubt that he saw opposed Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. The two were the undisputed stars of the circus at the turn of the 80s and 90s and over were rivals for the world title. It is particularly remember the World Championship 1989 and 1990, with the two drivers that have become protagonists of different mutual improprieties at Suzuka.
Senna and Prost have been one of the strongest couples ever in Formula 1, when for two years (1988 and 1989) have raced together in the McLaren-Honda team, always fighting for the title and dominating the track. Prost went to Ferrari in 1990, finishing second in the championship behind Senna. The following year, 1991, saw yet Senna and Prost winning struggling with an uncompetitive Ferrari.
