ALL ACCESS: Mayweather vs. Berto | Episode 1
There are less than ten days to return to the ring by Floyd Mayweather Jr, undisputed number 1 pound-for-pound in world boxing. "Money" will fight, in what could be his last match, against former WBC and IBF welterweight champion Andre Berto.
Opponent choice drew criticism on Mayweather, for which many would have hoped for a more challenging match. Berto, 31 years, despite being a former world champion and a very good Boxer, doesn't seem to be worthy of a legend like Mayweather (38 years). After the important match against Pacquiao, Boxer born in Grand Rapids (Nevada) has not much more to prove. Undefeated in 48 matches, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will defend the WBC welterweight and WBA and aims to reach the historic record of Rocky Marciano, winner of all 49 games played in his career.
Andre Berto, 30 WINS and 3 losses in his career, the underdog but clearly seeks the company of life against an incredible opponent as Mayweather.
The match will be held at the Mgm Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, traditional seat of Mayweather, on the evening of Saturday, September 12. Only after, we find out if they decide to retire or continue to give great boxing to fans and enthusiasts all over the world.
