2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport - Track Test
In the following video we will see a review of one of the most anticipated cars of the year: the new Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport. In particular it is a test performed on the track for the Motorweek television program, the longest automotive television show running always with 35 seasons, conducted by John H. Davis.
The test is carried out on the Shenandoah Circuit inside the Summit Point Motorsports Park in Summit Point, West Virginia. Our presenter, will tell us what are the impressions of the new Corvette Grand Sport 2017, illustrating its strengths and weaknesses.
The new Grand Sport is powered by the 6.2-liter V8 also features the Corvette C7 Stingray. This is capable of providing a power of 460 hp and has a torque of 465 lb-ft. Can reach the maximum speed of 195 mph and it goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3,5 seconds. It's available on the market with 7-speed manual transmission or 8-speed automatic transmission. The sale price is $ 66,445.
Unlike the original GS of the 60s, this model is designed for the road and not the track. Despite this it is without doubt an auto that has racing in the Dna, as from tradition for every Corvettes that you respect him.
What do you say, will succeed the new Corvette Grand Sport to overcome the Motorweek test?
